2 Corinthians 9:8 AMP “And God is able to make all grace [every favor and earthly blessing] come in abundance to you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete sufficiency in everything [being completely self-sufficient in Him], and have an abundance for every good work and act of charity.” That means, no matter what the circumstance, good or bad, you are sufficient in Him. Not yourself!
Your God-size vision or dream for your life, with your unlimited potential on display, must have resources to succeed. I talked to a pastor for an hour the other day, and he said, “I have to tell you two good things and one thing that is bad. Is that all right?” I said back to him, “Listen, I love both of them.” He was quiet and then repeated himself and then asked which one I wanted first. I said, “I don’t care and I’ll tell you why. Because, when I hear the good news or when I have a good issue, I know that I need to pray more. But, when I have bad news I know I haven’t been praying… So, either way, I’ve learned that my source in the situation is not the problem. My being resourceful is what I’ve got to deal with. When I have a problem, I’ve got to pray! When good comes, I’ve got to pray more. Because, it’s harder to handle good than it is to handle bad. Bad goes away quicker than good.”
